Phil Huntley - Owner and Construction Manager

Phil first started building out on his own in 1997.  He has a passion for building and loves the constant challenges it brings. Phil left Otago Boys High School in 1985 and initially undertook a joinery apprenticeship with Ray Walker Joinery, and subsequently was drawn more towards building and construction when he realised that being contained within a factory setting didn't provide him with the challenges he was after.

Phil lived and worked in Queenstown from the early 1990's through to 2005 and during that time worked on such keystone projects as the Millenium Hotel, the Heritage Hotel, the Copthorne Hotel and many more including Millbrook and some iconic top end homes, before going out on his own.

Due to Phil's experience across the board he is able to deliver on renovations, additions and alterations or practically any building project, with a level of expertise and an approach to problem solving that is drawn directly from the well managed and extremely professional environment in which he learnt his trade craft.

Phil still plays Senior rugby and also has become an avid Scuba Diver and relishes in the physicality of both, along with the requirements of running the lifestyle block he shares with Angela.
